Sarah Threlkeld, Instructor
Sheltered English & History Classes
Sheltered English and History classes follow the same CCRS curriculum as any high school English or History class. The courses are taught in an accommodated way so that English Learners can access the curriculum successfully. Language supports help EL students understand and learn English while also learning literature, grammar, reading, writing and social studies content. High school students take the Tech Center bus from their home schools to attend Sheltered English and History classes at the Tech Center. Students receive core English and History credits.
